Coronavirus update 3/13

Hi everyone,

This afternoon, Gov. Gary Herbert announced that all K-12 schools in the state of Utah will be closed for the next two weeks, and courses will be conducted online. Still, our plan is to stay open and fully operational. We will be taking guidance from the Utah Department of Health and State Licensing; if they direct us to close, we will follow suit, but for the time being we are open. We understand your need for childcare during this time, and we want to continue to be a resource, especially in light of this development.

In the coming hours and days, we will be working on a plan regarding all day camps for Camp Wild Life. As soon as we develop a plan, we will be updating everyone through email, Facebook and our website. You should expect a concrete plan for the coming two weeks by Sunday morning, at the very latest.

We understand that the governor’s announcement can be jarring for our families. As we mentioned in our last update, we will continue our plan for preventive measures at our schools and we urge our families to have a talk about their feelings and emotions regarding coronavirus. Our St. John’s family is here for each other.

Again, we will be doing our best to communicate to everyone on all avenues possible. We want to reiterate that our goal is to stay open so that we can help our families. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding during this time.
