Liberty Park Director & St. John’s CCDC Lead Director: Amanda Sutliff
Ms. Amanda is St. John’s Liberty Park Director.
I am in the process of obtaining my Bachelors in Early Childhood Education. I have a National Administrators Credential (NAC) and enjoy continuing my education in community classes and programs to keep up on the latest in the early childhood world. I am a transplant to Salt Lake from Miami, and I have found my place in Utah and love the community around me. I am a mom, dog lover and avid road tripper, I have crossed the country 9 times in total so far, each time finding a new place to explore.
“Working at St. Johns has assured me that I have found my calling in the education world, interacting with and teaching children add so much to my days, I know that I am where I am supposed to be”.

My name is Megan Clawson and I am the Director of St. John’s in Murray. I am currently working on my last class to earn my BA in Human Development and Family Studies. I have been working in child care centers since 2001 and love being in my new role as Director of the Murray location. I love being able to be in every classroom and getting to see all of the children at our location grow and change throughout their time with us. I am happily married and have four adorable children. As a family we enjoy playing outside, going for walks and having family movie night.
Sandy Director: Amber Madsen
Hello, my name is Amber Madsen, and I am the new Sandy Director. I have worked at St. John’s for many years, during that time I have worked in the Honeybee class, the Crickets class and the caterpillar class. I appreciate this opportunity to focus my skills and talents from the classroom to being a director. I love watching children grow and explore the world around them. I have been married for 17 years and am the mother of four adorable boys. As a family we love to play games, be outdoors and watch movies together. In my quiet moments I love to craft.
St. John’s CCDC Executive Director: Chaney Zinn
I was born and raised in Wyoming and moved to SLC in 2003. I am a proud mom, wife, avid gardener, art fanatic, and self proclaimed people person.
I began my career with St. John’s in 2011 when we were just one little preschool by Liberty Park. I have been lucky to see St. John’s CCDC grow into 3 locations and a thriving school-age program.
I have a B.A. in public relations from Colorado Mesa University and a National Administrator Credential (NAC).
I look forward to continuing to make a difference for our students, the teachers, St. John’s, and most of all my family. I am truly blessed by God’s good grace.
